Body Confidence Workshops

Over the last few years I've been actively promoting body confidence, on social media and on radio and television programmes here in Wales. Body confidence is extremely, extremely important to everyday life and to people of all sexes and ages! It's something I feel very strongly about. I spent many years in my teens and early twenties

suffering from a lack of confidence because I had a very negative relationship with my body. For a few years I have worked hard (and continue to work hard every day) on that relationship and have reached a point where I respect and celebrate  my body! I feel like there was

not enough help and advice available for me to learn to respect and     appreciate my body and all the amazing things it does for me. I had to   do a lot of research and hard work to get the help I needed to improve      my physical confidence. Because of that I am very keen to help as           many people as possible grow in confidence and spread the message.

Would you be interested in a Body Confidence workshop led by me, tailored to your organisation and age range that will be attending?

The workshop would last about an hour (depending on your timetable)      and focus on all things positive to do with our bodies. The sessions start with a 'get to know each other' activity and then goes on to discover how

we all feel about our bodies, before discussing how our bodies enable us to live our every day lives - how our legs help us to walk from one place to another and so on. The session will then lead to a mini meditation session, concentrating on breathing techniques and reminding ourselves of just how incredible our bodies are and why we should respect an celebrate them! If this sounds like something you'd be interested in I'd be more than happy to discuss more details and arrange between us. Send me an email at marigwenllian@hiwti.com or a message on instagram at @h.i.w.t.i, or you're welcome to call me on 07985505024.

Thank you,

Mari Gwenllian
